ROAD CYCLING

A calendar of road rides and special club events is drawn up for 12 months, from early February to the end of January the following year.

Rides are scheduled on
- Thursdays,
- Saturdays
- Sundays or public holidays.

It is also possible to cycle on Tuesdays: meet at the club’s headquarters at the same time as the following Thursday (following the Thursday route in reverse).

The distance and difficulty levels increase gradually until the summer, and then decrease for the autumn and winter rides.

Meeting point: Pau, Cité des Pyrénées

Four groups and two routes are available.

Practical Information

Because cycle touring should remain a pleasure, safety and health are at the heart of the French Cycle Touring Federation’s concerns.

Throughout the year, prevention, information and training initiatives are carried out across all the federation’s organisations.

Always remember to respect others and yourself so that you can enjoy cycling for many years to come in good spirits.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory to take part
in the Club’s activities.

Claims notification

In the event of an accident, please submit the accident report within 5 working days,
- either via the intranet (FFCT website, Members’ Area),
- or by post (claims form available for download).
