Pyrenean Raid from 1 June to 30 September.
Discover the call of the Pyrenees
A place to meet and exchange ideas, this call is an opportunityto savour, with friends, the last fine days still favourable for "the call of the mountains".
For cyclotourists attracted by the mountains,it's "their return from the summer pastures", as the mountains begin to put on their winter clothes and "bite" their fingers, noses and ears. It's the last foray into altitude before winter.
In 2024, it took place on Sunday October 13 at Germs-sur-l'Oussouet in the Hautes-Pyrénées.

Discover the Raid Pyrénén
Presentation
Created in 1950 by the Cyclo Club Béarnais, the Raid Pyrénéen is a permanent tour, open from 1 June to 30 September.
It's a crossing of the Pyrenees by bike from the ocean to the Mediterranean (Hendaye to Cerbère or Cerbère to Hendaye), taking in both prestigious and lesser-known passes.
In 1950, five cyclists embarked on the Raid Pyrénéen adventure.
Today, more than 200 people take part every year (with a record year of more than 600).
A few figures:
- 16 nationalities,
- 90% foreigners, mainly from the UK,
- 85% choose the Randonneur option,
- 90% depart from Hendaye.

CCB 90th anniversary
Cyclo Club béarnais is one of France's oldest bicycle touring clubs. It was founded in 1933. It celebrated its 90th anniversary on October 15, 2023 at LÉE town hall.
To mark the occasion, a family cycling tour, open to all, was organized on a very easy 10 km route, which could be ridden from one to nine times, depending on your level of training.

Events 2025
Supervised outings
Mountain bike and road weekend in Moliets
On 4 and 5 October, the CCB met at Momiets (Landes) for mountain bike (6 mountain bikers) and road (9 cyclists) tours. They did well to get through the rain.

André BACH Memorial Day
On Saturday 23 August, the CCB met at the summit of the Aubisque for the 79th André BACH Remembrance Day.
It was an opportunity to discover the new stele built as part of the redevelopment of the pass.

This trip to the Lot & Garonne took several forms:
Good weather and good spirits were the order of the day.

Touring the Landes coast
5 cyclists covered 500 km between Pau and the Landes coast between 8 and 11 May.

Easter omelette
On Monday 21 April, 27 members gathered at the Auberge "La Promenade" in Lasseube to share a Pascale omelette.
Among them were 15 cyclists who covered between 70 and 110 km in the morning and afternoon.

WHO ARE WE?
Created in 1933, the Cyclo Club Béarnais is one of the oldest clubs of the French Cycling Federation (it is number 76).
We propose activities which have for ambition to answer the various practices of the cycle touring: the road bike, the mountain bike.
From June to September, we offer the Raid Pyrénéen, a permanent tour that attracts more than 300 cyclotourists each year for a crossing of the Pyrenean massif between Hendaye and Cerbère (or Cerbère and Hendaye) through prestigious passes and others less known.
The Cyclo Club Béarnais also created in 1946 the Randonnée des Cols Pyrénéens (RCP). Originally, this tour went from Luchon to Pau via the Peyresourde, Aspin, Tourmalet, Soulor and Aubisque passes.

2025 Annual General Meeting
We met on Saturday 15 November for the 2025 General Meeting. The meeting was again held at the L'Amandier restaurant in Morlàas.
We took stock of our 2025 activities:
- 1/2-day outings,
- full-day outings,
- cODEP64 outings,
- touring trips.
We also presented our plans for 2026:
- putting the outings schedule online on smartphones,
- approval of the change to afternoon half-day outings,
- preparation of the new form for the Pyrenees raid, Pyrénées Coast tot Coast,
- finalisation of the Graval outings.
